Communication Officer
Part time and fixed term contract for 5 months providing maternity leave cover

This position can be located in our Geelong or Warrnambool office

0.6 EFT (22.8 hours per week) through to November 2019
There is potential of a part-time contract extension to November 2020

Pay range: Social and community Service Employee between Level 4 – 5 based on skills and qualifications Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.

Women’s Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West (WHWBSW) is an independent women’s health promotion organisation, formed to promote independence, health and wellbeing, and prevent illness for women living in the Barwon South West region of Victoria.

We are a small team of health promotion practitioners working together, and across the Barwon South West region, to promote health and prevent illness and violence against women before it occurs.

Please note WHWBSW have a Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal exemption no: H355/2018 and can advertise for and employ only women.

WHWBSW are seeking someone with an energetic can-do approach to fill our Communication Officer role. This position will ensure WHWBSW are seen and understood. This role will progress the brand, visibility, and understanding of WHWBSW across a variety of platforms, and engage different target communities.

Applicants will bring excellent communications skills and qualifications, a commitment to team-work and an understanding of feminism.
